New Japan National team coach Mr. Ivica Osim, who made contract with JFA on 21th July, had a victory start against Trinidad and Tobago in Tokyo. Mr. Osim selected only 13 men at his first announcement of new national team. He said in his inaugural press conference, "I want to bring out Japanese latent power, to play Japanicshe football. Japanisim in football is the agility, the aggressiveness, and the technique." The best coach for us came after the Germany 2006 disappointment.

Italy 1 - 0 Australia. World Cup 2006

The match of Round 16 in Kaiserslautern was the one that I HAD A TICKET. Several friends and colleagues asked me that "didn't you go to Germany?". If I could, I was there. I could buy the Kaiserslautern ticket last year on FIFA Web system and they assigned Group E 1st place vs Group F 2nd to the match. Oh, It would be Italy vs Japan!! I was very exited.
Unfortunatelly, I couldn't go there. There is a "RESALE" scheme in FIFA system and I used it. Tickets were kept in FIFA's computer and if the ticket owner could not use it, the owner can sale to someone else. It is a good system...

It's comin, World Cup

Even here in Japan, World Cup is the national concern. Normally the soccer conversation is limited within the community of supporters or players, but I am very happy hearing the world cup day's air.
I wish you can enjoy Japanese football. I push striker Takahara who scored twice from Germany and the speedy defender Tsuboi.
