Hiroshima relegated


Kyoto Sanga won the J1/J2 playoff on 2-1 aggregate (1st Kyoto 2-1 Hiroshima, 2nd Hiroshima 0-0 Kyoto) and is promoted to J1 2008. - Dec 8, 2007

Hiroshima, having many national players, failed to play at their top form. They will play J2 league for their second time (last time 2003 season).

Promotion to J1: Consadore Sapporo (J2 1st), Tokyo Verdy 1969 (J2 2nd), and Kyoto Sanga (playoff winner)
Relegation to J2: Yokohama FC (J1 18th), Ventforet Kofu (J1 17th), and Sanfrecce Hiroshima (playoff loser)
