87th Emperor's Cup Results
Note that due to the modification of the ACL scheme, this year's emperor's cup winner
does not qualify to the ACL 2009.
Hiroshima, they relegated to J2, sweeped this years coufused
football away after the J1/J2 playoffs and became the cup finalist.
This might help preventing players
from being transferred to J1 clubs, as the emperor's cup period is the
organization time for J.League clubs that most clubs have fixed next
year's model.
At the start of season 2007, everyone thought 07 would be the Gamba Osaka's season.
