Football Under the Rocket? Under the Blossom?

House of Tomorrow (Schoolhouse)

Last weekend was like a peaceful and un-peaceful day in Japan. North Korea's "Rocket" story occupied the TV news during two days. Finally the "rocket" was launched on the Sunday noon, we could not know the achievement of the test scientifically or politically, and the league went on.

There were J.League matches in Niigata on Saturday and in Yamagata on Sunday routinely and both home team enjoyed the victory, although both cities were near from the "rocket's" flight course. As Japanese has mixed feelings to Korean, many Korean origin Japanese are living together in Japan, we are not anger at or do not accuse of this act naively. --For instance, there is a Japan born, having South Korea nationality, North Korea international striker who played at World Cup Qualifiers in South Korea on last Wednesday, no it's not easy in Far East as well.--

The photo was taken in the evening after the J.League match in Saitama Stadium on Saturday. Cities around Tokyo are covered with many sakura (cerry trees) in full blossom now. We could enjoy the sakura season this year without any trouble.
