Gamba Osaka, Nagoya Grampus, Kashima Antlers qualified to the R16, AFC Champions League Group League
On 5th and 6th May, fifth of six ACL group league match were played.
Gamba, Nagoya and Kashima qualified to the Round of 16. This new ACL regulation
allows each leaders and co-leaders are qualified to the final round, every four
clubs including Kawasaki Frontale will go to the next stage.
Gamba struggled with "away whistle" in Shandong, without the playmaker
Endo who was sent off in the first half won the narrow victory.
