Leaders Urawa and FC-Tokyo with runner-ups Yookohama-M and Shimizu with seeded Kashima, Kawasaki-F, Nagoya, and G-Osaka (ACL participants) advance to quarterfinals. In Saitama Stadium, Volker Finke's Urawa Reds is appearing in full view. Three Internationals are in Austraria for World Cup Qualifier and several main players are absent by injury, scoring six times to go to the top of group A. Finke's mixture of teens and over thirtys are worth watching even if you are not a Urawa Reds supporter.
