Japan Welcomes Alberto Zaccheroni as New Coach

JFA made a contract with Alberto Zaccheroni as new Japan National team coach. He is the first Italian to lead Japan squad. There are many cultural gap between Italy and Japan, I suppose, but if he can do well in living in Japan, he is the good choice for Japan.

Before this announcement, several Spanish names and (even at the morning of the announcement) an Arzentina name is written large on the newspaper. As Osim and Zico were welcomed from J.League, Zac is the first coach broght from international football's open market.

"By the time this adventure is over, I want to create a lot of great memories and to show the fans Zaccheroni football, Zaccheroni samurai," said Zac in Tokyo.

Japan will play against Paraguay in Yokohama on Saturday 4th, and vs Guatemala in Osaka on Tuesday 7th. Zaccheroni will watch these two from the stand due to the work permit.
